Betty Lamb
Betty Lamb, of Covington, passed away Wednesday, September 9, 2020, at the age of 84. Mrs. Lamb was known by her family and friends as being a busybody – she loved traveling, visiting people, shopping, and talking on the phone. In addition, she enjoyed being part of the Smyrna Shriners Club, doing crossword puzzles, collecting photos, watching her favorite NASCAR racer, Kyle Busch, and GA Tech football (even though the family thought they had her converted into a UGA fan). Mrs. Lamb loved her children and grandchildren dearly and will be missed by all. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Lamb.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Keith and Debra Robinson; grandchildren, Jeremy Robinson, Melissa Ingram and husband, Jimmy, Michael Robinson, Chris Robinson; great-grandchildren, Hannah Ingram, Madeline Ingram, Emily Ray, along with several other grandchildren; as well as numerous loving family and friends.
A Funeral Service for Mrs. Lamb will be held Saturday, September 12, 2020, 11:00 A.M., at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Pastor Chris Allen officiating. Friends are invited to visit with the family at the funeral home, Friday, September 11, from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. and again on Saturday, prior to her service, from 9:00 – 10:45 A.M.
CDC guidelines recommend social distancing (6 feet apart) and wearing of masks while in public. Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home requests that you observe these recommendations while in our funeral home attending visitations and/or services. In addition, gatherings are limited to 50 persons or less in our facility at one time. Please honor these restrictions for the safety of the family, yourself, and our staff.

Obit - Linda Grace Hill
Linda Grace Hill, of Winder, passed away Friday, September 4, 2020, at the age of 78. Ms. Hill's life was firmly rooted in her faith as a Christian and devout Mormon. She was loved and well-cared for by her brother, Charles and his wife, Joyce, who together attended to her needs and carried out her wishes with dignity and compassion. Ms. Hill was preceded in death by her daughter, Melissa; and brother, L. Jerry Ward.
Ms. Hill is survived by her daughter, Lynn Hill; son, Chuck Johnson; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law, Leisa Caryl and Mark Grace; brother and sisters-in-law, Charles Michael and Joyce Ward, Gail W. Ward; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Margaret Stephens
Margaret Stephens of Covington, passed away Sunday, September 6, 2020, at the age of 86. A devout Christian, Mrs. Stephens was exceptionally involved in her church at Gospel Mission. Her goal in life was to teach the word of God. But most of all, time spent with her family is what Mrs. Stephens treasured most. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Deborah Taylor; son, Aaron (Hotrod) Corley; Grandsons, Jackie Ray Bullard, Brandon Dino Fitts; parents, Rayford and Evie Mae Hilliard; sister, Dorothy Sorrells; brother, Ralph Hilliard.
Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Kathy Bullard, Carol and Ben Matz, Cheryl Carter, Linda Stinchcomb and Danny Fitts, Karen Corley; sons and daughter-in-law, Pete and Dale Hilliard, David Roper; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters, Jewel Brown, Shirley Hall; as well as her brother, Ben Hilliard.
A Graveside Service for Mrs. Stephens will be held Thursday, September 10, 2020, 4:00 P.M., at Lawnwood Memorial Park, 1111 Access Road, in Covington, with Pastor Wayne Whitley officiating. Friends are invited to visit with the family at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, Wednesday, September 9, from 5:00 – 9:00 P.M.
