Denny Brian Maddox of Conyers, passed away August 6, 2013, at the age of 41. Denny was a loving and devoted father, husband, son, brother and friend. He enjoyed spending time with his friends, playing golf and cheering on his Georgia Bulldogs. But above all he cherished spending time with his daughter, Reanna. Denny was preceded in death by his loving mother, Judy (Thompson) Maddox.
Survivors include his wife, Valerie Dean Maddox; daughter, Reanna Maddox, both of Conyers; step-daughter, Amber Lee and her husband, Dayton; step-son, Daniel Owens, all of Covington; father, William C. "Bill" Maddox of Conyers; brother and sister-in-law, Doug and Wynne Maddox of Bethlehem; step-granddaughter, Cheyenne Lee of Covington; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
A Graveside Service for Denny will be held Friday, August 9, 2013, 11:00 AM, at Hillandale Memorial Park, in Lithonia, with Pastor Tony Howeth officiating. The family will receive friends at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, Thursday, August 8, from 6:00 – 9:00 PM. Flowers are accepted, but the family would prefer donations be made to Newton Baptist Church – Youth Fund, 720 Jack Neely Road, Covington, GA 30016.
