Margaret Rape Carlson of Covington passed away October 17, 2015, at the age of 70. Margaret was a member of The Church at Covington where she participated in the S.A.L.T. Women's Ministry. She cherished the time spent with her grandchildren. Margaret will be forever missed by her family and friends.
Survivors include her son, John Carlson; grandchildren, Courtney Carlson, Johnathon Carlson, Kelsie "Worm" Carlson, Bailey Hamby; great-granddaughters, Braelinn and Rileigh; brothers and sister-in-law, Tommy and Mary Ann Rape, Robbie Rape; as well as several nieces and nephews.
A Graveside Service for Mrs. Carlson will be Tuesday, October 20, 2015, 11:00 AM, at Lawnwood Memorial Park, 1111 Access Road in Covington. Flowers are accepted, or contributions may be made in her memory to American Cancer Society, 1684 Barnett Shoals Road, Athens, GA 30605.
