Luminaria Service @ Lawnwood Memorial Park

The Lighting of the Luminaria at Lawnwood Memorial Park will be held Saturday, December 1.

This year, for safety reasons, there will be no handing out of luminaria after dark.  Instead, we will be handing out luminaria during the day on Saturday, December 1, between the hours of 12 Noon and 5 PM, in the area of the Mausoleum.  After picking up your candles, you may place them on the graves of your loved ones and spend as much time as you wish at graveside prior to 5 PM.  We do ask that you leave the cemetery by 5 PM.  If you would like to light your candles, please go ahead and do so.  Our staff will begin lighting all unlit luminaria at 5:30 PM.

We invite you to come back after 6:00 PM to drive through the cemetery and admire the luminaria display from the warmth of your car.

There will be NO outdoor lighting and NO traffic control in the cemetery during any of these hours.  For your safety and the safety of others, PLEASE DO NOT STOP OR PARK in the cemetery after 5:00 PM.

Thank you for helping us make this a better experience for everyone.
