Angela E. Ward, of Covington, passed away peacefully December 15, 2012, at the age of 47 after a battle with cancer. Angela enjoyed scrapbooking, arts and crafts, tutoring, and playing paintball with her husband. She also enjoyed traveling, and especially cruises. Angela was preceded in death by her husband, Adam Ward; and her parents, Robert and Shirley Massey.
Survivors include her cousins, Tim and Mattie Kitchens of Covington, Wanda and David Tremonte of Conyers; Tony and Carol Kitchens of Monticello; and Donna and Woody Grainger also of Covington; uncle, Howard and Marie Smallwood of Conway, SC; step-son, Cameron Lowry Ward of Conyers; in-laws, Gail and Jerry Ward of Bluffton, SC; brother-in-law, Chris Ward also of Conyers; several nieces, nephews, and friends.
Funeral Services for Angela will be held Tuesday, December 18, 2012, 10:00 AM, at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Pastor David Payne, officiating, and interment following in Westview Cemetery in Atlanta. The family will receive friends at the funeral Monday, December 17, 2012 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home.
