obit for Robert (Bobby) Masdon, Sr.

Robert (Bobby) Masdon, Sr., of Conyers, passed away Thursday, July 9, 2020, at the age of 81. Mr. Masdon had a magnetic personality whose animated storytelling and amazing humor easily captured the attention of those around him. He had a natural inclination to make life easier for others, and he was a caring family man. Mr. Masdon's grandchildren and great-grandchildren earned a special place in his heart! In his free time, he liked to travel and his favorite get-away was Las Vegas. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 62 years, Jacqueline Marie Masdon; parents, John and Irene (Vaughn) Masdon.

 

Left to cherish and remember a life well-lived is his daughter and son-in-law, Tina and Rick Mathis; sons and daughters-in-law, Bobby, Jr., and Cynthia Masdon; Jeff and Tracy Masdon; grandchildren, Ricky Mathis, Amber Mathis, Amanda Masdon, Heather Masdon, Chase Masdon, Drake Masdon, Tiffany Masdon; great-grandchildren, Peyton, Jacqueline (JJ), Charlee Marie, Kayla Marie, Jaydon, Aaliyah, Bella;

 

A Funeral Service for Mr. Masdon will be held Saturday, July 11, 2020, 3:00 P.M., at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Rev. Mike Hardy officiating. Interment will follow in Lawnwood Memorial Park in Covington. Friends may visit with his family at the funeral home, two hours prior to his service, from 1:00 - 3:00 P.M.
