Mary Bradford-Blanco of Oxford, passed away August 20, 2012, at the age of 72. She loved to cook; and enjoyed crafts and shopping. Mrs. Blanco was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend to many. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Blanco; and her parents, Henry R. and Edith Arizona (Holbrook) Howell.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Angela and Randy Summerford of Covington; sons and daughter-in-law, Brad and Judy Bradford, Steve Bradford, all of Social Circle; grandchildren, Sandy Howard, Holly Knapp, Clay Pierce, Zack Bradford, Matthew Bradford, Abby Bradford; great-grandchildren, Melissa Howard, Matthew Howard, Karli Buckelew, Alyssa Pierce, Corbin Buckelew, Ethan Pierce, Gehrig Knapp, Gibson Knapp; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Blanco will be held Wednesday, August 22, 2012, 4:30 PM, at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with interment following in Covington Mill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday, August 21, from 6:00-8:00 PM. Flowers are accepted, or donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 225 Peachtree Street NE, Suite # 550, Atlanta, GA 30303.
