Adam Wilcox of Covington, passed away November 18, 2014, at the age of 36. Adam was an avid fan of Georgia Tech, the Atlanta Braves and the Falcons. He loved his Dodge truck and enjoyed taking road trips, studying history and going to theatrical plays. Adam had a jovial spirit, was always joking with his friends and loved to laugh. He cherished his family dearly, and especially loved spending time with them at the holidays. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Fred and Emma Moran; and his paternal grandparents, Stewart and Juanita Wilcox.
He is survived by his beloved daughters, Erin Nicole Wilcox, Cyler Avery Wilcox; mother, Barbara Wilcox, all of Covington; father and step-mother, James and Dianne Wilcox of Pekin, IL; sister, Marisa Taylor of Covington; brother and sister-in-law, Jason and Allison Wilcox of Marietta; niece and nephews, Jordan Wilcox of Marietta, Isaac Smith of Frederic, MI, Gavin Taylor of Covington; as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral Services for Adam will be held Sunday, November 23, 2014, 3:00 PM, at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with entombment following in Memory Chapel Mausoleum at Lawnwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday, November 22, from 12:00 – 3:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Caldwell and Cowan Funeral Home, P.O. Box 630, Covington, Georgia 30015 to help with funeral expenses.
