Devin D. Key, 47, of Stockbridge, Georgia, beheld his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, when he passed away on Sunday, August 23, 2015. A hard-working man with steadfast character, Devin will be greatly missed. Devin had an unquenchable desire to tell others about his Lord. He was an avid outdoorsman, uncompromising sportsman, and master storyteller, but he was most passionate about family. Devin's love of hunting (especially his record-book whitetail), fishing, camping, farming, playing and coaching sports (including his state-championship teams) was truly enhanced when combined with the togetherness of family. Devin was preceded in death by his father, Woodrow "Woody" Key, mother, Frances Key, and sister, Diane Key.
He is survived by his treasured and faithful wife, Lori Key, and beloved children, Cayla, Colt, Cal and Cayt Key; brothers and sister-in-law, Darrell Key, Darwin and Judy Key and Dwain Key; sisters and brothers-in-law, Larry and Debbie Lawrence, Mike and Donna Roderigas and Randy and Detra Maughon; numerous aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, August 25, from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington. The funeral service will be held at 4 PM, Wednesday, August 26, at Victory Baptist Church, 88 Brand Road SE, in Loganville, with interment to follow at Lawnwood Memorial Park, in Covington.
