Dillon Wilks Bragg of Covington passed away June 21, 2016, at the age of 22, a day before his 23rd birthday.
Dillon lived life to the fullest and he had a warrior's spirit. He was a friend to many and loved by everyone who met him. Dillon was a rebel to his last minute. Throughout his life, he played baseball, swam competitively, played the bass guitar, rode horses and bulls and wrestled his heart out. At age 13, he was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes, preventing him from being able to join the military. He refused to let his disease define him, so being a true American Patriot, Dillon trained with a Constitutional Militia, the Georgia Security Force 111%, and by doing so, he was able to protect his country and those he loved. Dillon's family has an emptiness that cannot be filled until they see him again in Heaven.
Survivors include his constant companion Mary Jane; his parents, Tiger and Kathy Bragg; brothers and sister-in-law, Dalton and Lesley Bragg, Dustin Bragg, all of Covington; grandparents, Bob and Dotti Bala of Conyers; niece, Bryleigh Bragg; nephew, Tiger Bragg; a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins, Chuck and Laura Adamson,
Shawn and Becky Bala, their children, Cody and Jessica, Winston, Braxton, Aly, Bailey, and Garrin Bala, Brady and Shayna, their children, Chance and Jordan, Bobby and Brandi Bala.
Dillon was preceded in death and received in heaven by grandparents, Donald and Traveen Bragg; great-grandparents, Grandma and Grandpa Bick; aunt, Mary Bickford; Uncle Alan (Dink Moore); along with best friend, Trevor Bailey and his uncle by choice, Don Oliver.
