Carl E. Durham, of Mansfield, passed away Sunday, October 3, 2021, at the age of 76. Mr. Durham was a hardworking man that held various jobs between manufacturing, sales, and assembly. He was a good carpenter and was always building and tinkering things. Mr. Durham was a huge car fanatic ever since he was a young boy and loved going to car shows. Additionally, he enjoyed going fishing. He was preceded in death by his wife, Katherine Durham; and father, Edwin Durham.
Mr. Durham is survived by his sons, Kyle Durham, John Durham; mother, Mattie Durham; grandchildren, Emily Durham, Jonathan Durham; sister, Paulette Conner; and brother, William Durham.
A Funeral Service for Mr. Durham will be held Friday, October 8, 2021, 3:00 P.M., at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Steven Connor officiating and interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park. Friends are invited to visit with the family two hours prior to his service from 1:00 – 3:00 P.M.
Governor Brian Kemp's latest executive order has eliminated restrictions on large gatherings; however, CDC guidelines recommend social distancing (6 feet apart) and wearing of masks while in public.
