Julian Sevice Vaughn, of Social Circle, passed away Monday, October 4, 2021, at the age of 73. Mr. Vaughn was a hardworking man and retired from Georgia Power. He was always working around the house, tinkering in his barn, and keeping his yard tidy. Mr. Vaughn loved taking his boat out on the lake. He cherished the time he spent with his wife and whole family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Hilda and Carroll Sevice Vaughn; and brother, Glenn Vaughn.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Betty Vaughn; daughter, Allison Jordan (Mart); son, Jason Vaughn; grandchildren, Kalin Jordan, Emaly Bradford (Matthew); sisters, Linda Smith (Larry); and Alicia Allen; and brothers, George Vaughn, Brian Vaughn.
A Funeral Service for Mr. Vaughn will be held Friday, October 8, 2021, 11:00 A.M., at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Tracy Goodman officiating and interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park. Friends are invited to visit with the family at the funeral home one hour prior to his service from 10:00 – 11:00 A.M.
Governor Brian Kemp's latest executive order has eliminated restrictions on large gatherings; however, CDC guidelines recommend social distancing (6 feet apart) and wearing of masks while in public.
