Patricia Kitchens Duke Obituary

Patricia Kitchens Duke, of Mansfield, passed away Tuesday, March 29, 2022, at the age of 72. Mrs. Duke was a member of Prospect United Methodist Church in Mansfield. After retiring from Dr. Beeber's office where she worked as a licensed practical nurse, she went on to serve as the school nurse and was a substitute teacher at Jasper County High School. Mrs. Duke, affectionately known as Nana loved her family, friends and church dearly. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Clayton Duke; parents, J.M. and Johnnie Kitchens; and siblings, Ann Johnson, Jerry Kitchens, Sylvia Curtis.

 

Survivors include her daughter, Patty Cole (Hung); sons, Randy Duke (Karla), Johnny Duke (Tovie); grandchildren, Brandon Duke (Katelyn), Justin Duke, Seth Pettis (Jessica), Regan Clement (Trevor), Andi Parker (Justin), Kirsten McQuaig (Adam), Hunter Duke (Ashley Smith); great-granddaughter, Charlotte Raelynn Duke; additional blessings to come, Clayton Lloyd Duke, Everly Reeves McQuaig; future bundles of joy that Mrs. Duke has handpicked from Heaven; siblings, Linda Atkinson, Mitchell Kitchens (Debbie), Shelia Walker (Don); as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

 

A Celebration of Life and visitation for Mrs. Duke will be held Saturday, April 9, 2022, 11:00 A.M., at her daughter's home, 318 Long Piney Road, in Mansfield, with Pastor Bob Wooten officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Prospect United Methodist Church, 84 Barnes Mountain Road, Mansfield, GA 30055
