Connie F. Wright, a lifelong resident of Newton County, passed away Wednesday, July 27, 2022, at the age of 61. Mrs. Wright was a member of Cornish Mountain Baptist Church, in Oxford. She was a loving, caring, and strong woman. Mrs. Wright was devoted to her husband and cherished her family and friends dearly. She was preceded in death by her father, Luther Felton Farmer; and brother, Barry Farmer.
Mrs. Wright is survived by her husband of 35 years, David Wright; daughter, Christin Rhoades (Chad); grandchildren, Jonathan Wright, Angel Willcutt; mother, Lillian Farmer; sister, Sandra K. Hewell (Carrie); and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Service for Mrs. Wright will be held Tuesday, August 2, 2022, 2:00 P.M., at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Pastor Jerry Barrett officiating. Friends are invited to visit with the family at the funeral home on Monday, August 1, from 5:00 – 7:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to help with funeral expenses.
