Sammy Moss, 82, of Covington, passed away August 20, 2013. Sammy was a dedicated employee of Southern Bell, for 31 years, before retiring at the age of 51. He was a faithful member and deacon of Porterdale Baptist Church, and was always willing to do anything the church needed of him. Sammy was loved dearly, and will be missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his precious daughter, Cindy Moss Savage; and his parents, Cloma and Stella (Craig) Moss.
Survivors include his best friend and loving wife of 63 years, Nevada C. Moss; sons, Gregg Moss of Covington, Derrick Moss of Mansfield; grandchildren, Jason Savage, Marie S. Webb, Aimee M.
