Michael David Roberds, of Covington, passed away September 19, 2013, at the age of 18. Michael David was a loving son. He was a graduate of Alpha Omega High School in Covington, and he attended Eastridge Community Church and The Orchard Church in Loganville. Michael David enjoyed all types of fishing, jet skiing and loved all sports.
Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Kathryn "Katbird" and Mark Lord of Covington, GA; father, Michael Roberds of Loganville, GA; sisters, Candice Christy of Kennesaw, GA, Brittany Roberds of Richmond, VA; brother, Michael C. Roberds of Athens, GA; grandparents, David "Papa" and Lynn "Nanny" Mansfield of Stone Mountain, GA, Mildred Lord of Covington, GA; girlfriend, Natalie "Natmac" Madaris also of Covington; step sister, Megan Freeman and her husband, Jon; step brother, Blake Lord and his wife, Mollie.
Funeral Services for Michael David will be held Sunday, September 22, 2013, 3:00 PM, at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Rev. Scott Moore and Rev. Ben Cathey officiating, and interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday, September 21, from 6:00 – 8:00 PM.
