Lillie Rose Smith, of Mansfield, passed away May 14, 2014. She was 76 years of age at the time of her death. Mrs. Smith enjoyed fishing, playing games on her iPad, going to the mountains, and spending time by the campfire when she went camping. But most of all she loved her family and spending time with them. Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Smith; sons, Eddie Smith, Jimbo Smith; daughter, Edith Smith; granddaughter, Alisha Rowe Bellamey; long-time companion, Bobby Camp; parents, Albert and Della Mae (Cooper) Newman; brother, Billyray Hudson.
Mrs. Smith is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Sherry and Glenn Ivie of Cleveland, Theresa and Larry Rowe of Mansfield; grandchildren, Melissa, Melanie, Robbie, Jimbo, Susan; great-grandchildren, Alexis, Austin, Andrew, Morgan, Peighton, Carley, Alisha, Maleyah, Brody; brother and sister-in-law, Ken and Sylvia Newman of Chattanooga, TN.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Smith will be held at 12:00 Noon, Saturday, May 17, 2014 at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 3134 Floyd Street, in Covington, with Pastor Shannon Rhodes officiating. Interment will follow in Lawnwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home two hours prior to the service, from 10:00 AM – 12:00 Noon.
