Obit - Deborah Harvey

Deborah Harvey, age 60, of Covington, passed away October 9, 2014. Mrs. Harvey, loving wife of Pastor Charles P. Harvey, dedicated her life to serving the Lord as both a pastor's wife and church mother at The Pentecostals of McDonough. She enjoyed traveling and sharing her gifts of music through singing and playing the piano. Mrs. Harvey was tender-hearted and soft-spoken in nature. "Grammy", as she was affectionately known, cherished her time with her children and grandchildren. They were her life, and she will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Mrs. Harvey was preceded in death by her father, O C Muncrief; and her brother, Randy Muncrief.

 

Survivors include her husband of 32 years, Pastor Charles P. Harvey; children and their spouses, Patrick and Rhonda Harvey, Crystal and Andrew Little, Rachel and Andy Butler; grandchildren, Kaitlyn Little, Jadyn Harvey, Brooklyn Little, London Little; mother, Geneva Muncrief, all of Covington; sister and brother-in-law, Becky and Bobby Burkeen of Fort Stockton, TX; brother and sister-in-law, Ricky and Ivey Muncrief of Dyersburg, TN; as well as several nieces and nephews.

 

Funeral Services for Mrs. Harvey will be held Monday, October 13, 2014, 11:00 AM, at The Pentecostals of McDonough, 1181 Highway 42 N, in McDonough, with Pastor Donald L. Abernathy and Pastor Kenneth Morrell officiating, and interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park, in Covington. The family will receive friends at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, Sunday, October 12, from 6:00 – 9:00 PM.
