Trudy Schneider of Conyers passed away December 18, 2015, at the age of 86. In 1980, Mrs. Schneider and her family moved from Glenview, IL to Conyers, GA, to escape the northern winters. She worked with her husband, Arnold, who owned and operated Dallia Floors for many years. Together they enjoyed listening to music, dancing and playing golf. In addition, she was a member of The 9-Hole Women's Golf Club at Fieldstone Country Club in Conyers. Mrs. Schneider retired from TJ Maxx in Conyers, in her early 70s, where she worked the jewelry counter. She and her sisters enjoyed shopping and lunch dates together. Mrs. Schneider liked doing home projects and decorating using her favorite colors, blue and yellow. Additionally, she was an avid shopper and loved watching HGTV. Preceding her in death were her husband, Arnold Schneider; and her daughter, Linda Schneider.
Survivors include her children and their spouses, Steven and Joanne Schneider of Buffalo Grove, IL, David and Crystal Schneider of Stockbridge, GA, Robert Schneider of Covington, GA, Joni and Steve Benton of Atlanta, GA; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and siblings; numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Schneider will be held Sunday, December 20, 2015, 3:00 PM, at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road in Covington, with interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park. Friends are welcome to visit with the family Sunday, one hour prior to the service.
