Obit - Betty May (Ray) Brewer

Betty May (Ray) Brewer, age 72, of Conyers, passed away January 26, 2016. Mrs. Brewer was an incredibly brilliant seamstress, an artist, even, who shared her talent while working for Walton Clothes for many years. Following her employment with Walton Clothes, she continued working for Sealy Corporation, before retiring in 2010. She was a wonderful cook and loved watching and feeding the birds who would often return to her yard. Mrs. Brewer was a Godly woman, strong in her faith, who loved her church family at Rockdale True Gospel Pentecostal Church. She was loved by so many and will truly be missed by those who cherished her most. Preceding her in death were her parents, James Ernest and Nannie May (Wilkins) Ray; sister, Margaret Williams; and her brothers, James and Robert Ray.

Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Darlene and Randy Carney of Ball Ground, Stephanie and Joey Ralston of Covington; sons and daughter-in-law, Alex and Lisa Brewer of Rockmart, Sammy Brewer of Atlanta; step-son, Alvin Brewer of Stockbridge; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and her sister, Janice Bailey of Dallas, GA.
