Deanna Franklin of Covington, passed away January 24, 2016, at the age of 52. Deanna was a faithful member of Canaan Baptist Church and loved her church family dearly. She was a 1611 KJV Bible-believing, missions-minded Christian lady who loved presenting the Gospel and sharing Christ with others. She was a dedicated employee of AT&T for 31 years. Deanna always put others before herself, and will undoubtedly be missed by all who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her father, Doyle Hensdill.
Survivors include her husband, Barry Franklin; mother, Rena Hensdill; sisters and brothers-in-law, Denise and John Colantoni, Jamie and Junior Sayers; brother, Darryl Hensdill; step-mother, Betty Hensdill; Barry's children, Andy Franklin, Jessica Franklin; grandchildren, Sebastian St. Clair, Hayden St. Clair, Milo Franklin; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
A Funeral Service for Deanna will be held Wednesday, January 27, 2016, 1:00 PM, at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday, January 26, from 5:00 – 8:00 PM. Flowers are accepted, or contributions may be made, in her memory, to the Mission Fund of Canaan Baptist Church, 5581 Salem Road, Covington, GA 30016.
