SSgt Bradley David Nicholson passed away January 13, 2016, at the age of 29. Born and raised in Covington, Brad was currently stationed in Charleston, SC, where he was proudly serving in the U.S. Air Force. He will be remembered as an avid fisherman. Brad was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Billy Earl Nicholson.
Survivors include his wife, Sarah Michelle Nicholson; daughter, Chloe Elizabeth Nicholson; son, Owen Jase Nicholson; parents, David and Janice Nicholson; sister, Sabrina Malcolm; brothers, Joey Nicholson, Nathan Nicholson; maternal grandparents, Charles and Evyie Blanford; paternal grandmother, Joyce Jones; as well as several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
A Funeral Service for Brad will be held Wednesday, January 20, 2016, 3:00 PM, at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road in Covington. Interment will full military honors will follow in Lawnwood Memorial Park. Friends may join the family for visitation prior to the service on Wednesday from 1:30 - 3:00 PM.
