Ina Lucinda Green of Covington passed away July 14, 2016, at the age of 89. Mrs. Green was a member of the Awakening Ministry. A prayer warrior, she would spend her time praying for the needs of others. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family, and she will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Preceding her in death were her mother, Zaida Davy; father, Norman Green; brothers, Aldan Green, Vaughnell Davy.
Survivors include her daughter, Arlene Green of Covington; grandchildren, Shevonese Woolford, Daniel Wilson, Johnathan Wilson, Sabrina Wilson; great-grandchildren, Nia Woolford, Kayla Woolford; sister, Beverly Montgomery; godchildren, Betty Reynolds, Nathan Reynolds, Mark Paey, Markis Paey, Alfie James, Hunter James, Kavita Bailey, Apostle Tammy Alexander, Judie Thompson, Alan Thompson, Tony Fields; special friend, Apostle Kerry Pope; as well as many cousins and close friends.
Funeral Services for Ms. Green will be held Saturday, July 23, 2016, 12:00 Noon, at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road in Covington, with Apostle Kerry Pope officiating and interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park. Friends are welcome to join the family at the funeral home Saturday
two hours prior to the service from 10:00 – 12:00 Noon.
