FUNERAL NOTICE
Jessie Coe of Covington, passed away August 25, 2016, at the age of 74. He was owner and operator of JC Trucking Company for over 40 years. Mr. Coe was a member of County Line Baptist Church, and followed through with the believer's baptism three years ago. He was also a member of the Agape Sunday School Class. Mr. Coe could be found working on antique cars, a hobby he enjoyed doing with his son, Steve. He also loved flower gardening and spent time traveling - one of his favorite destinations being the mountains. Preceding him in death were his parents, Irvin and Mary Emma (Clay) Coe; along with seven siblings.
Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Dave Makely of Loganville; son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Donna Coe of Mansfield; granddaughters, Amy Robison;, Kaitlyn Coe, Janna Coe; sister, Lillie Strickland; brothers, J.P. Coe, Lovelle Coe, Cecil Coe; several nieces and nephews; and his girlfriend, Pamela Taylor.
A Funeral Service for Mr. Coe will be held Sunday, August 28, 2016, 2:00 PM, at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Rev. J. Clifton Brown officiating with interment to follow at Lawnwood Memorial Park. Friends may join the family for visitation at the funeral home, Saturday, August 27, from 5:00 – 8:00 PM.
