Deputy Justin White of Monticello, passed away November 15, 2016, at the age of 28. A 2007 graduate of Newton County High School, Justin served as a deputy with the Newton County Sheriff's Office since 2012. He was a very dedicated law enforcement official who cared deeply about the people he served. Justin was among the best in dealing with situations involving family violence. He was an avid Georgia Bulldog fan, loved fresh-water fishing, and deer hunting. Justin was a very loving father, who worked hard to support his family. He considered his dog, Max, to be his "four-legged son." Polos and jeans were his favorite attire; anyone who wishes is encouraged to wear them for visitation. Justin was preceded in death by his grandmother, Brenda Vining.
Survivors include his wife, Morgan White; daughter, Charlee Grace White; parents, Cornell Bernard White, Sr., Covington, Lisa Vining, GA; brothers, Broderick Johnson White, Cornell Bernard White, Jr., both of Covington; sisters, Kayla Marie Greene, Katie Lauren Kindsfather, both of Covington; grandparents, Curtis and Addie Jo White, Jerry and Patricia Rogers, all of Covington aunts, Connie White, Cassandra Mitchell, Christy and Amanda McGiboney, Rhonda Gunnells, all of Covington, Amy Vasquez, Conyers.
Funeral Services for Deputy Justin White will be held Saturday, November 19, 2016, 11:00 AM, at The Church at Covington, 11975 Highway 142, Oxford, with Dr. David R. Moody, Rev. William Hemphill, and Lt. Paul Gunter officiating and interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park. Friends may visit with his family at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, Covington, Friday, November 18, from 5:00 – 8:00 PM. Flowers accepted, or donations may be made to his daughter, Charlee Grace White, at United Community Bank, 9100 Covington Bypass, Covington, GA, 30014.
