Shelda Jean Dial Sanders of Covington, passed away, Thursday, August 31, 2017, at the age of 79. Jean enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She attended Eastridge Community Church where she was a member of the Joyful Noise Group. Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Glenn Sanders; son, Robbie Glenn Sanders; as well as her parents, Robbie M. and Virginia Dial.
Survivors include her sister, Bonnie Bartlett; nieces, Vicki Huff, and her husband, Kenny, Terri Lynch, Terra Lynch, Isabella Dodd; nephews, Bobby Bennett, Joseph Dodd, JoJo Lynch; aunt, Sue Miller; as well as many cousins and friends.
A Memorial Service for Jean will be held Sunday, September 3, 2017, 2:00 PM, at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington. Friends may visit with her family at the funeral home, two hours prior to the service, from 12:00 Noon - 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory, to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Memorial Honor Program, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
