Robert "Gator" Fullen, age 57, of Oxford, passed away February 16, 2018. After graduating high school, Robert followed in his father's footsteps and joined the United States Air Force. He would later use the skills he earned in the Air Force to work as a helicopter mechanic for the Covington Airport. An avid biker, Robert was a member of HOH M/C Detroit for 25 years. He also loved music and was able to channel his artistic side drumming for local bands. Robert was preceded in death by his father, Daniel R. Fullen.
Survivors include his devoted wife, Julie Fullen; daughters and son-in-law, Meighan Flowers of Conyers, Shea and Jake Niedzwiecki of Detroit, MI, Alexandra Jones of Southwick, MA; son, Daniel Fullen of Covington; six grandchildren, plus one soon-to-be-born grandchild; mother, Geraldine Fullen of Pittsburgh, PA; brothers and sister-in-law, Daniel and Sue Fullen of Ft. Lauderdale, Terence Fullen of Atlanta; numerous nieces and nephews; and his Club Brothers at HOH M/C Detroit.
A Funeral Service for Robert will be held Thursday, February 22, 2018, 10:00 AM, at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan, 3134 Floyd Street, in Covington. Friends are invited to visit with the family, at the funeral home, Wednesday, February 21st, from 2:00 – 4:00 PM, and again, from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM.
