Bessie Mae Womack, 84, of Covington, passed away July 21, 2013. Mrs. Womack loved her children and grandchildren, and always enjoyed taking care of others. She is loved, and will be missed by her family and friends. Mrs. Womack was preceded in death by her husband of ____ years, James Corrie Womack; son, James Randolph Womack; and her parents, Earnest and Mae (Cochran) Crowe.
Survivors include her daughters, Cathy Osborn of Mansfield, Janice Carlile of Covington; sons, Charles Womack of Covington, David Lee Womack of Oxford; 17 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Womack will be held Wednesday, July 24, 2013, 11:00 AM, at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Rev. James T. Walden officiating, and interment following in Oxford Historical Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday, July 23rd, from 5:00 – 8:00 PM.
