Elizabeth A. Crenshaw-Brown, of Monticello, passed away on January 10, 2014, at the age of 84. She retired from Foote Davies Printing Company after 30 years of service. She loved her family dearly and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed spending time with her family while camping, traveling and especially during the holidays. Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by her husbands, Charles Edward Crenshaw and Marvin M. Brown; son, Charles Edwin Crenshaw; sisters, Clara Gibby, Polly Thomas; brothers, Harvey Awtrey, Johnny Awtrey.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Edward and Shirley Crenshaw of Monticello; grandchildren and their spouses, Allen and Kelly Crenshaw of Williamson, GA, Michelle and Robbie Brown of Loganville, Crystal and Brandon Terry of Buford, Nathan Crenshaw of Monticello; great-grandchildren, Melanie, Brooke, Matthew, Lauren, Eathan, Andrea, Caleb, Alana, Easton; great-great-granddaughter, Madelynn Hill; brothers; Jack Awtrey, David Awtrey; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Brown will be held Tuesday, January 14, 2014, 12:00 PM, noon, at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 3134 Floyd Street, in Covington, with Rev. Mike Smith officiating, and interment following in Resthaven Gardens of Memory, in Decatur. The family will receive friends at the funeral home 2 hours prior to the service from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
