Herbert Marvin Beasley, of Covington, passed away on January 18, 2014, at the age of 67. A hard worker and great provider for his family, he worked as a dump truck driver for Jimmy Harris Trucking. He was caring, understanding, and dependable. Whatever he committed to, he would do. He was also an outdoorsman and enjoyed going to the drag races in Eatonton. Mr. Beasley was preceded in death by his brother and sister-in-law, J.T. and Myrtle Beasley.
Survivors include his wife, Edna Joyce Beasley of Covington; daughter, Crystal Beasley; son, Herbert David Beasley, both of Covington; nephews, Ricky Beasley of Newborn, Ronnie Beasley of Monticello, Donnie Beasley of Covington; niece, Christina Beasley Huseman, also of Covington.
In accordance with his wishes, he will be cremated. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
