Laura June Martin of Conyers, passed away September 15, 2015, at the age of 75. She enjoyed watching old movies, sewing and crocheting, collecting dolls and listening to Elvis. She cherished the time she spent with her family and loved cooking. Mrs. Martin was an independent, hard-working woman, and will be remembered, by all, for her kind and generous spirit! She was preceded in death by her husband, John Daniel Martin; and her parents, Lawrence and Hazel Cooper.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, John and Carol Martin; and her granddaughters, Holly and Sarah Martin, all of Covington.
A Funeral Service for Mrs. Martin will be held Friday, September 18, 2015, 2:00 PM, at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Brandon Stanley officiating and interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday, September 17, from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM.
