Curtiss Lynch

Curtiss S. Lynch of Covington passed away May 14, 2016, at the age of 62. Curtiss attended Eastridge Community Church, and he was deeply committed in his faith. He was a 1971 graduate of Social Circle High School. An avid sports fan, Curtiss was either pulling for the Atlanta Braves or the Auburn Tigers. In addition, he enjoyed going fishing. He cherished the time spent with his family, and he will surely be missed by all who knew and loved him. Preceding him in death was his son, Curtiss "Curt" Sumner Lynch, Jr.; and parents, Otis, Sr., and Bernice Sumner Lynch.

 

Survivors include his loving wife of 29 years, Nan Lynch; daughters and son-in-law, Alison and Gabe Mask of Covington, Nicole Lynch of Auburn, AL, Katie Lynch of Covington; son and daughter-in-law, Nicholas B. and Gina Lynch of Palatine, Il; grandchildren, Bryan, Eric, Reagan, Anthony, Lucy, Brayden, Audrey; great-granddaughter, Madalynn; sisters and brother-in-law, Dorothy and Tony Brooks of Loganville, Becky Jones of Monroe; brother, Otis Lynch, Jr., of Stockbridge; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

 

Funeral Services for Curtiss will be held Tuesday, May 17, 2016, 2:00 PM, at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road in Covington, with Pastor Scott Moore officiating and interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park. Friends may join the family for visitation at the funeral home Monday, May16, from 6:00 – 8:00 PM.
