Lucille Essie Smith of Conyers, passed away September 5, 2016, at the age of 75. Mrs. Smith was an active member of The Church at Covington. She was a devout Christian lady who loved the Lord and wanted to serve others. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Smith; granddaughter, Morgan Smith; grandson, Joshua Smith; parents, Marvin and Beulah (Paris) Flynn; sister, Agnes Blair; and her brother, Bobby Flynn, Sr.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Connie and Curtis Lively, Lisa and Anthony Yates, Sr., all of Covington; son and daughter-in-law, Tim and Tammy Smith of Conyers; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Smith will be held Friday, September 9, 2016, 11:00 AM, at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Pastor David Payne officiating and interment following in Green Meadow Memorial Gardens in Conyers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday, September 8, from 4:00 – 8:00 PM.
