obit for Lisa (CiCi) Parnell Mon

Lisa (CiCi) Parnell Mon, age 50, of Wall Township, New Jersey, formerly of Mansfield, Georgia, passed away December 18, 2018. Lisa was raised in Mansfield Baptist Church, and while living in New Jersey, she attended St. Mark's Catholic Church where she sang in the choir. Though she was a gifted musician, both as a vocalist and pianist, she was also known for her culinary skills. As a loving and caring mother to her daughter, Maggie, Lisa was attentive, compassionate and always there to lend support and guidance. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Julius and Mildred Lazenby; and paternal grandparents, W.A. and Fannie Mae Parnell.

 

Survivors include her daughter, Margaret Catherine (Maggie) Mon; Maggie's father, Dean R. Mon, both of Sea Girt, NJ; parents, Larry and Catherine Parnell; sister and brother-in-law, Lori and Donnie Adamson, all of Mansfield, GA; brother and sister-in-law, Monty and Nancy Parnell of Perry, GA; nieces and nephews, Dr. Jacob Parnell and Amanda Parnell, Jared Parnell and fiancée, Tiana Castillo, Lacy Adamson, Eva Catherine Parnell; as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

 

A Memorial Service for Lisa will be held Saturday, December 22, 2018, 3:00 PM, at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Dr. Jeff Perkins officiating. Friends may visit with Lisa's family Saturday, one hour prior to her service, from 2:00 - 3:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Epilepsy Society. http://www.aesnet.org
