Jackie Cashwell, 95, of Buckhead, GA, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving children, whom she dotted over, December 27, 2019. She was born August 6, 1924, in High Springs, FL. Mrs. Cashwell eloped and married her sweetheart, Marion C. Cashwell, June 15, 1942, who preceded her in death on May 21, 2015.
She loved everyone, her family and friends and President Donald Trump. Mrs. Cashwell's life was a living example of the Bible – a favorite verse of hers was Ephesians 4:32 – "And be kind to one another and compassionate to one another, just as God also forgave you in Christ".
Jackie will be sorely missed and is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Dawn and Terry Toles, Sondra Garner; sons and daughter-in-law, Marion and Mary Cashwell, Wayne Cashwell; grandchildren, Christopher Toles, Eric Toles, Jennifer Rose, Kellie Rose, Candace Hires, Carrie Taff, Phillip Cashwell, Heidi Cashwell, Haley Cashwell; 20 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren; sisters and brother-in-law, Shirley Wilson, Nancy and Roger Gloege, Rebecca Denis; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of her life will be held Monday, December 30, 2019, 2:00 P.M., at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Pastor Kenneth Gosse officiating. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home, one hour prior to her service, from 1:00 – 2:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association Georgia Chapter, 41 Perimeter Center East, Suite 550, Atlanta, GA 30346.
