Brenda Carol Sewell Loggins, age 67, passed away peacefully at her home, in Conyers, GA, Saturday, December 7, 2019, after an extended battle with cancer. She was born in Anderson, South Carolina, to Harrison and Bertie Mae Fitzgerald. Mrs. Loggins was a retired real estate agent and a homemaker. She is preceded in death by her late husband of 11 years, Bobby L. Sewell; parents, Harrison and Bertie Mae Fitzgerald; and sisters, Loretta Rhodes, Debbie Yonce.
Mrs. Loggins' memory will remain in the hearts of all who loved her, especially her devoted husband of 35 years, Tony L. Loggins; son, Tony L. Loggins, II, and wife, Amber; grandson, Harrison Lewis Loggins; sisters and brothers-in-law, Mary Pennington and Jerry Smith, Darlene and Dennis Mealor; brothers and sisters-in-law, Ben Fitzgerald, David and Betsy Fitzgerald, Kenneth Fitzgerald, Johnny and Judy Fitzgerald, Don and Diane Fitzgerald; and her dear friend, Marlena Marrero.
A Funeral Service for Mrs. Loggins will be held Wednesday, December 11, 2019, 1:00 P.M., at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Rev. Larry Cheek and Alvin Loggins officiating. Entombment will follow in Arlington Memorial Park, 201 Mount Vernon Highway NW, Sandy Springs, GA 30328. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home, two hours prior to the service, from 11:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M. In lieu flowers, donations may be made to the Leukemia Society of Georgia, 3715 Northside Parkway, Building 400, Suite 300, Atlanta, GA 30327.
