Mary Jackson, of Jackson, passed away Wednesday, March 24, 2021, at the age of 80. Mrs. Jackson was a God-fearing woman who loved to sing and dance while listening to her favorite artist, Elvis Presley. She enjoyed painting, sewing, and cooking for her family, especially everyone's favorite, homemade biscuits. Mrs. Jackson will be remembered as a incredibly loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 57 years, Riley Henry Jackson, Sr.; daughter, Mary Lynn Jackson; son, Tony Anthony Jackson; grandchild, T.J. Bell; parents, David Franklin and Ruby Harp.
Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter and son-in-law, Angela and Billy Bell; son and daughter-in-law, Riley and Amber Jackson; grandchildren and their spouses, Cynthia Bell, Billy and Candi Bell, Taylor Ann Jackson, Tori Jackson, Carson Craig; great-grandchildren, Callie Bell, Lucas Bell, Hunter Bell, Riley Rogers; as well as several nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Service will be held Monday, March 29, 2021, 2:00 P.M., at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Pastor Hulon Knight officiating and interment following in New Hope United Methodist Cemetery. Friends are invited to visit with the family at the funeral home, Saturday, March 27, from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M., and again on Sunday, March 28, from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M.
CDC guidelines recommend social distancing (6 feet apart) and wearing of masks while in public. Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home requests that you observe these recommendations while in our funeral home attending visitations and/or services. In addition, gatherings are limited to 50 persons or less in our facility at one time. Please honor these restrictions for the safety of the family, yourself, and our staff.
