Brandon Massey, of Covington, passed away Monday, January 17, 2022, at the age of 20. Brandon was very thoughtful and always thought of others before himself and had a positive outlook on life. His glass was always full and always saw the silver lining. Brandon loved his family and was strong willed. He never asked for much and the smallest things meant the most to him. Brandon loved to listen to Rock and Roll music and loved his rock T-Shirts. One of his greatest achievements was graduating high school with honors.
Survivors include his parents, Chris and Bonnie Massey; grandparents, Chuck and Sherry Brasher, Curtis and Brenda Morgan; aunts and uncles, Brenda Overstreet, Dave Massey, Shane Massey, Daniel Massey (Sinea), Kim Dooley, Laurie Wilson, Holmes Overstreet; as well as several cousins.
A Funeral Service for Brandon will be held Sunday, January 23, 2022, 2:00 P.M., at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Rev, J. Wesley Privett and Gerald Massey officiating and interment following in Milstead Baptist Cemetery. Friends are invited to visit with the family at the funeral home, Saturday, January 22, from 6:00 – 7:00 P.M.
Governor Brian Kemp's latest executive order has eliminated restrictions on large gatherings; however, CDC guidelines recommend social distancing (6 feet apart) and wearing of masks while in public. Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home requests that you observe these recommendations while in our funeral home attending visitations and/or services.
