Patti King, a lifelong resident of Covington, passed away Saturday, January 1, 2022, at the age of 64. Born Thursday, May 30, 1957, Patti was a graduate of Newton County High School and a vital member of her hometown community. People were drawn to her warm personality, and over the years, she developed a close-knit circle of dear friends. Patti was a devoted and loving family woman who shared a special bond with her grandchildren and great-granddaughter. She enjoyed going out to eat, and her favorite places were Butcher Block and Stalvey's.
A Funeral Service for Patti will be held Tuesday, January 4, 2022, 2:00 P.M., at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Rev. Len Strozier officiating. Interment will follow in Covington City Cemetery, Davis Street, Covington. Friends are invited to visit with the family at the funeral home, two hours prior to her service, from 12 Noon – 2:00 P.M.
The family requests casual attire for those attending the visitation and service.
Governor Brian Kemp's latest executive order has eliminated restrictions on large gatherings; however, CDC guidelines recommend social distancing (6 feet apart) and wearing of masks while in public. Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home requests that you observe these recommendations while in our funeral home attending visitations and/or services.
