JC Clack, 89, of Jackson, GA, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on January 11, 2022 – 7 days short of his 90th birthday.
JC was born on January 18, 1932, at home in Seville, Georgia to Howard P. Clack and Irene Poss Clack. He was the oldest of 9 children. He moved to Atlanta in 1955 and worked mostly in the trucking industry. His greatest joy was helping and visiting all of his family, aunts, uncles, brothers, sisters, cousins, children and grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Clack; daughter, Sherry Semmendinger; parents, Howard Peirce and Irene Myrtice Clack; sister, Betty Dozier; brothers, Dr. Leroy Clack, Wendell Clack.
Survivors include his daughter, Vicky Milner (Melvin) of Jackson, son-in-law, Bill Semmendinger, of Breman, GA; grandchildren, Scott Milner (Jessica) of Covington, GA, Randy Milner (Kat) of Jackson, GA, Marcia Entrekin (Jason) of Waco, GA, Susanne Worrell of Virginia Beach, VA, Mike Semmendinger (Amber) of Virginia Beach, VA, Katie Verhalen (Ben) of Virginia Beach, VA; 14 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Peggy Mangum of Dover, Fl, Janet Whittle (Charlie) of Midland, GA, Glenda Selph (Claude) of Tifton, GA; brothers, Jerry Clack (Joy) of Tifton, GA, Donnie Clack (Ginny) of Rochelle, GA; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
A Visitation for Mr. Clack will be held Friday, January 14, 2022, from 12 Noon – 1:00 P.M., at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington.
Governor Brian Kemp's latest executive order has eliminated restrictions on large gatherings; however, CDC guidelines recommend social distancing (6 feet apart) and wearing of masks while in public. Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home requests that you observe these recommendations while in our funeral home attending visitations and/or services.
