B.F. Campbell of Covington, passed away July 17, 2012, at the age of 83. Mr. Campbell was a member of Central Community Church. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, and spending time in his yard. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, Grandpa, Great-Grandpa, brother and friend to many. He was preceded in death by his son, Pee Wee Campbell; grandson, Billy Campbell; parents, Leonard and Ollie (Cunnard) Campbell; and his previous wife, Ruth Campbell.
Survivors include his wife, Doris Campbell of Covington; sons and daughters-in-law, Pete and Joni Campbell of Social Circle, Bit Campbell of Covington, Debbie Campbell of Oxford; 5 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; sisters, Georgia Wyczalek of AZ, Kathy Graziadel of TX; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral Services for Mr. Campbell will be held Friday, July 20, 2012, 11:00 AM, at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Pastor Darrell Allen officiating, and interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday, July 19, from 6:00-8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 225 Peachtree Street NE, Suite # 550, Atlanta, GA 30303.
