Peggy Ann Cranford of Covington, passed away July 7, 2012, at the age of 68. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend to many.
Mrs. Cranford enjoyed cooking. She was preceded in death by her parents, Sterlin and Mary Lou (Hamm) Collins.
Survivors include her husband, Cecil Cranford of Covington, daughters and son-in-law, Suzanne Kelly of Covington, Lynn and Martin Purcell, Sr., of Locust Grove: son and daughter-in-law, Marcus and Janet Cranford of Covington; 6 grandchildren, Stephen Kelly, Eric Kelly, Martin Purcell, Jr., Peyton Purcell, Chad Cranford and Christopher Cranford; 1 great-granddaughter, Rosalee Cranford; sister and brother-in-law, Lillian and Ray Crabtree of Suwanee; several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service for Mrs. Cranford will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, July 14, 2012, at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service, from 10:00 – 11:00 A.M.
