Elizabeth Jenkins Piper, of Covington, passed away June 21, 2013, at the age of 85. She was preceded in death by her husband, Homer Piper; daughters, Vickie Forrester, Linda Tatum; son, Jimmy Piper; and parents, James and Vera Jenkins.
Survivors include her daughters, Cathy Lester of Covington, Brenda O'Kelley of Conyers; brother and sister-in-law, James and Jean Jenkins of Covington; 9 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandson; 2 nephews and their wives.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Piper will be held Monday, June 24, 2013, 2:00 PM, at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Dr. Sidney E. Bailey officiating, and interment following in Covington City Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday, June 23, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM.
