A.L. Crane, of Covington, passed away July 16, 2014 at Newton Medical Center. He was 78 years of age at the time of his death. A.L. loved people and never met a stranger. He was always willing to go the extra mile to help anyone who needed him. He will be remembered as a man who loved his family. A.L. was preceded in death by his son, Wade Crane; parents, Alvin M. and Gladys (Segars) Crane; and his former spouse, Joann Covington.
Survivors include his sons, Curtis Crane of McDonough, Alan Crane of Covington; 4 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law, Frances and Roy Seymour of Eatonton; brother, Bobby Crane of Covington; as well as several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service for A.L. will be held at a later date.
