Louise Stoddard, age 70, of Oxford, passed away July 18, 2014. A woman of God, she was a 40-year devoted member of Macedonia Baptist Church, in Oxford, where she enjoyed singing in the choir. She was a caregiver for multiple families in Newton County. Mrs. Stoddard enjoyed gardening and cooking, and made the best biscuits around. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifton Stoddard; son, Mike Stoddard; and grandson, Andrew Stoddard.
Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Charles and Alyce Stoddard, Tim and Sheri Stoddard, Jeff and Jennifer Stoddard; grandchildren, Justin Stoddard, Tiffany Rose, Dylan Meyer, Taylor Nicole Stoddard, Hunter Scott Stoddard; great-granddaughters, Chloe Lane Stoddard, Aubrey Lynn Rose; several sisters and brothers; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Stoddard will be held Tuesday, July 22, 2014, 10:00 AM, at Macedonia Baptist Church, 108 W. Macedonia Church Road, Oxford, GA, with Pastor Larry Cheek officiating and interment following in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 3134 Floyd Street, in Covington, Sunday, July 20, from 1:00 – 5:00 P.M.
