Dennis Veal, 61, of Covington, passed away July 5, 2014. Mr. Veal worked for the Internal Revenue service for 37 ½ years. In addition to collecting Coca Cola memorabilia and old coins, Mr. Veal enjoyed camping, playing cards, watching game shows, and listening to music, and will be remembered for his sense of humor. Preceding him in death were his parents, W.C. and Sylvia Veale; and brother-in-law, Smiley Hardy.
Survivors include his sister, Evelyn Hardy; brother Travis Veale; niece, Lisa Mayes, nephews, Allen Lackey, Keith Lackey, Jeff Lackey; and great-nieces and great nephews.
A Memorial Service for Mr. Veal will be held at a later date.
