Deborah (Cissy) Evans Foster, of Covington, passed away January 18, 2015, at the age of 46. Cissy was a little league football team cheerleader and while in high school, she managed the Newton County High School baseball team in 1986 and 1987. She was a member of The Baptist Tabernacle and taught first and second grade at Tabernacle Christian School, as well as home schooling several students. Cissy loved people and will be remembered as a person who loved people.
Survivors include her husband of 22 years, Frank J. Foster; daughter, Skyler Nichole Foster, both of Jackson; parents, Ernest and Liz Evans of Covington; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Frank and Carmen Foster, also of Covington; brothers and sisters-in-law, Ernie and Serena Evans, Johnny and Kim Evans, Greg Evans, all of Covington; sister-in-law, Carla Johnson of Covington; brother-in-law, Peter Foster of Social Circle; as well as several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, January 23, 2015, 11:00 AM, at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Dr. David Moody officiating, and interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home, Thursday, January 22, from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M.
