Michael Smith of Covington, passed away February 14, 2016, at the age of 49. Michael enjoyed playing golf and traveling, especially to Vegas. He kept people upbeat with the smile he always had on his face. A hard-working and dedicated man, Michael attended Crosspoint Christian Church. He loved the Lord and desired to please Him. Michael loved his family deeply and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Survivors include his wife, Lisa Smith of Covington; parents, Terry Parks and Mary Jo Smith of McDonough; step-children, Angelica Ervin, Alexis Ervin, both of Covington; grandson, Bryson Underwood; uncles, David Fields of Stockbridge, Barry Smith and wife, Carol, of Ormond Beach, FL.
Friends are invited to join the family for a Memorial Visitation, Wednesday, February 17, 2016, 6:00 – 8:00 PM, at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington.
