Karen Ellis Puckett of Covington, passed away Saturday, March 21, 2020, at the age of 67. Mrs. Puckett was a faithful member of Solid Rock Baptist Church, in Covington, and retired from Lithonia Lighting after 18 years of dedicated service. Devoted to helping others, Mrs. Puckett volunteered her time at the Willing Helpers Food Ministry. She was an avid bowler and enjoyed playing pool and crocheting. Mrs. Puckett loved her family dearly and will be missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clinton Wesley and Gladys Mae Ellis.
Survivors include her loving husband of 8 years, Frankie Puckett; sons and daughters-in-law, Chris and Rebecca Braswell, Jimbo and Heather Sorrows; grandchildren, Devon, Lenora, Ryan; brother and sister-in-law, Don and Angie Ellis; niece, Crystal Ellis; nephews, Brandon Ellis, Benson Lane, Jason Lane.
A private Graveside Service for Mrs. Puckett will be held Wednesday, March 25, 2020, 2:00 P.M., at Corinth Memorial Gardens, 1365 Highway 81, in Loganville, with Bro. Justin Hudgins officiating. Friends are invited to visit with the family at Caldwell & Cowan Funeral Home, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, prior to her service, from 12:30 – 1:30 P.M. Flowers are accepted, or donations may be made to the Willing Helpers Food Ministry, 8111 Brown Bridge Road, Covington, GA 30014.
