Susan Webb, age 60, of Covington, passed away Friday, March 13, 2020. Susan was a vital member of New Life Praise Center, and for thirty-six years, a dedicated employee of Walmart. In her role as grandmother, she loved to connect with her grandchildren and shopping was one of the many ways she spoiled them, not only with time spent together but oftentimes treating them to ice cream and little trinkets. Evidence of Susan's fun and bubbly personality was on display whenever she went to see performances of Elvis impersonators – her all-time favorite entertainer, and anytime she was cheering on and rooting for the Crimson Tide. Additionally, Susan liked to travel to Tennessee where she hoped to one day live. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Chester and Nellie Pearl (Rodgers) King; and her cat, Boo Bear.
Susan will be lovingly remembered by her daughter and son-in-law, Tara Lei and Billy Day; grandchildren, Abigail Day, William Day; former husband, Robby Webb and his wife, Debbie; as well as her beloved cat, Presley, aptly named in honor of her favorite singer, Elvis Presley.
A Funeral Service for Susan will be held Wednesday, March 18, 2020, 2:00 P.M., at the Chapel of Caldwell & Cowan, 1215 Access Road, in Covington, with Pastor Justin Adams officiating and interment following in Lawnwood Memorial Park in Covington. Friends are invited to visit with her family Tuesday, March 17, from 5:00 – 8:00 P.M.
